A bit about me

I am a results-driven creative Project Manager with a passion for UX/UI design and a proven track record of leading teams in developing new digital products for multilingual audiences. Using my extensive experience in the mass media as a reporter, videographer and TV host to observe, research and communicate; and my skills as a Digital Lead and a Project Manager to connect the dots, organize, optimize, and deliver on schedule. The heart of my work is collaborating to find innovative, simple, and impactful solutions, while constantly experimenting with emerging tools and formats. Currently I am focused on streamlining user experience, digital transformation & cloud solutions.

Second Lebanon War, 2006

At the beginning of my career, as a reporter, I learned quite a lot about empathy, communication, and being resourceful and disciplined. When covering crises, you need to assess the situation, rate the risks, prioritize work, locate the resources, and be able to deliver the coverage under tough circumstances, on a deadline (imagine sending news reports from Haiti after a devastating 2010 earthquake that severed traditional lines of communication.)

Later on, as a Project Manager working on developing new digital products and apps utilizing Agile methodologies, I often found similarities to the newsroom and hosting live shows experience: you assume that things can and will change, and when it happens, you adjust and iterate, focused on providing the audience with the most valuable information your team can get at the moment. And, pretty much as a cross-functional Scrum team, you work together to deliver the best product.

Throughout my career, I have always found value and pleasure in diving deep into various aspects of the projects I worked on. Whether it was working on magazine or web layouts, learning programming languages to better communicate with developers, or creating templates for data visualization and promotions, I always aimed to deliver high-quality results.

However, one narrative has always remained constant throughout my various roles: storytelling. To me, digital products are a story, an invitation to conversation. They reflect our needs, dreams, and flaws. My goal is to create products that help people - and inspire.

  • Experimenting

Meet my alien friend! I love to travel and experiment with new tools and formats. In this picture - filming with Insta360 Pro camera in Antelope Canyon in Arizona - you can check the result on my YouTube channel

  • Exploring

My first college degree was in Sociology and Anthropology. Curiosity for different cultures’ perspective followed me throughout my career – sharing stories of people from over 50 countries, from places as different as Africa and the Arctic. Do you know what the Inupiaq alphabet sounds like? How about attending the World Eskimo Indian Olympics?

I work hard so my dog and cat can have a better life. At least that’s what they think.
